Paragliding is one of the popular adventure activities that enthrall visitors. Flying in the sky is a delightful idea and the adventure pleases tourists from across the globe. 

Neuschwanstein Castle-Germany

If you wish to fly over a fairy tale castle, then this is the place to be in. Walt Disney used the Neuschwanstein castle near Füssen as his inspiration who created this castle. It is real and adventure lovers can fly right over it. Tourists are provided with various launch options. The best one among them is the Tegelberg which is a bit up the mountain. You can enjoy fog and ever-changing weather conditions while flying at a fast pace.

Annecy-France

Annecy is generally used for SIV courses as there are various launches within easy adjacency of the large lake. It makes for considerably soft landing offering the pilot manages to ignore drowning. Pilots doing the SIV course can take off from the Col de la Forclaz launch in order to position them over the lake before indulging in death-defying exercises like spiral dives, full collapses, asymmetric collapses and wing-overs. Chamonix and Mont Blanc-France

Treh-France

The site is located in France but it is beloved of Germans equally. It can be understood by the fact that half the pilots on given day can be listened speaking German. The local residents also speak French and German bilingually. There is a plethora of cheap places to reside here, encompassing chalets or tent sites at the various local motor camps.

The Treh Mountain becomes very thermic in summer and permits pilots to fly long distances. The landing area at the bottom of the mountain positions in front of the local school. It also houses a paragliding shop where you will be entertained by friendly staff. It is at the place where pilots can also wait for the shuttle van which facilitates them with drive back up to the top.

Babadag (Olüdeniz)-Turkey

The destination is equally popular among adventure travelers. Pilots who are flying from the Babadag Mountain in Turkey can fly over the Oludeniz lagoon before they land on one of the major 5 beaches in the world. The weather never gets below 25oC (77oF). It remains flyable around 80% of the days which makes it a popular holiday hotspot for pilots. The Olüdeniz Air Games are organized here every year, and encompass skydiving, paragliding, base-jumping and hang gliding. Those who are willing to do so should book their accommodation in advance.

Dune du Pyla-France

Dune du Pyla in France is the largest sand dune in Europe with a width of 500m (1,640ft) and length of 3km (1.86mi). It boasts of a height of around 100 m and is also growing. It has occupied a hotel and a major intersection and is steadily invading on the local motor camp. The sand dune is popular among paragliding experts for its easy flying.
